Real Estate and Materials Procurement PM- Maine/NJ

Looking for a Real Estate and Materials Procurement Project Manager with experience specifically with Commercial Real Estate Construction Projects. This will start as a four month contract and candidates preferably will sit in Southern Maine but could also sit in the Southern NJ office.

KEY EXPERIENCE:

-Experience doing Strategic Sourcing and/or Procurement in support of Commercial Real Estate construction projects. Ideally, experience within a Corporate Real Estate department or General Contractor.

-A candidate with a strong understanding of Environmental sustainability pertaining to facilities management and construction would be ideal.

-A candidate with experience in either, subcontracts on the legal side or in construction would work well for the role as it pertains to Real Estate.

SKILL SETS:

-preparing bid documents and request for proposals,

-working with engineering and design professional to develop bid specifications and statement of work (SOWs)

-conducting pre-qualification interviews with potential vendors,

-facilitating evaluation process with selection committee

-negotiating pricing and terms with vendors

EXPERIENCE WITH PROCURING THE FOLLOWING GOODS AND SERVICES IS VERY HELPFUL:

-Architectural services for design and construction documents

-Building components and materials including:

glass, steel, HVAC systems, retail store signage (internal and external), roofing, LED lighting, Photovoltaic (Solar panels), Building Management Systems (BMS)

ADDITIONAL USEFUL EXPERIENCE:

-Certification and experience with LEED and net-zero construction projects

-Experience with BIM enabled construction process

-The resource will be working with a variety of people; Engineers & Project Managers and Bank Management.
