Job Details:

The health care work force of the future should have the knowledge and skills to provide patient-centered, community-focused, cost-effective, clinically-effective, coordinated care. To do these things successfully, the work force must be competent, flexible, and adaptive to changes in health care delivery and technology. Under the supervision of an R.N., functions as a team member by performing delegated patient care activities and related services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients. Under the direction of a Charge R.N. is responsible for an efficient flow of administrative, secretarial, and clerical tasks on the patient care unit from the patient''s admission through the patient''s discharge. Each department may assign responsibilities and duties specific to that department. One year experience in an acute care setting desirable.
