TitleMarketing Manager Location:Oxford, Maine 04270 United States DescriptionGENERAL SUMMARYAssist in all aspects of marketing with an emphasis on promotions and events. To administer efficient effective direction to all departments within the Marketing, advertising, and players club divisions. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for all promotion and event activity both at the casino as well as off premise.Responsible for assisting with departmental budget including, but not limited to; purchase journals, expenditures, capital requests, labor and periodic variance reporting for all four above departments.Responsible for assisting with all aspects of direct, web, and e mail marketing including the planning, implementation, and follow up analysis are completed for all projects and campaigns.Oversee Casino Hosts to ensure they are active, effective and providing exceptional guest service.Corresponds with guests verbally and written to maintain good customer relations.Assists with organizing the Marketing, Advertising, Database and Player s Club Departments for effective and efficient service, as well as overall coordination and control.Maintains familiarity with market trends, marketing/promotion laws and statutes, and products as they pertain to the industry.May perform the duties of subordinate personnel.Makes recommendations and negotiations with outside contractors for services utilized by the Marketing Operations.Maximizes casino revenue while maintaining marketing expenses. (Marketing ROI)Provides for the professional career development of direct subordinates.Creates or initiates records, reports and other administrative documentation in a timely manner, as required to meet expectations of the organization.Through a positive example, actively promotes an environment conducive to high quality customer service.Such other job related duties as may be assigned by instruction from management.RequirementsGAMING INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE IS PREFERREDJOB SPECIFICATIONSTwo years of progressively higher levels of responsibility in supervision/management.Two years of event and promotional marketing experience.Demonstrated knowledge of all aspects of Marketing Operations.Demonstrated computer application skills.Demonstrated proven experience in management functions, including organizing, staffing, planning, leading and controlling.Demonstrated efficient and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Possess basic math skills.Advanced education in the hospitality industry and/or the equivalent in work years.Additional InformationAll applicants must be able to demonstrate their US work authorization during the employment verification process.
