Responsible for supporting the IDEXX Computer Services line of business and its marketing goals and strategies including new customer acquisition, increased utilization and retention.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support the Marketing team in all aspects of product management as well as supporting the Marketing Manager regarding pricing, margins, forecasts, and budgets for one or more product lines.

Track and analyze selected marketing programs and metrics.

Gather and update competitive intelligence.

Support training and communication with the field sales team, customer support, and other functional areas.

Develop and implement tactical market programs including tracking and trending.

Prospect database development for use in direct marketing efforts

Develop educational tools and messages, specifically for secondary and tertiary target groups.

Help ensure optimum marketing and sales communication across the division.

Assist in the management of trade show presence.

Develop product and market knowledge.

Work with beta customer sites to better understand customer adoption curve and address product enhancement opportunities.

Support in production of training materials for product advantages and benefits.

Assist in the development of tactical marketing and sales collateral material in conjunction with outside agencies and internal communications department.

Coordinate marketing and selling materials, including development, re-order and literature stock maintenance and literature revisions.

Product issue resolution.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree (business, marketing or science background preferred) or equivalent work experience.

EXPERIENCE: 2-4 plus years related experience. Marketing and sales experience or comparable veterinary market experience preferred.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Strong written and oral communication skills

Self-starter who can manage and prioritize a large number of tasks

MS Office proficient (advanced knowledge of spreadsheet or database software preferred).

Ability to perform in a fast paced, challenging environment.

Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Ability to interact with all levels of management and all functional areas and externally with customers.

Ability to lead and work in teams.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Computer use.

Travel required (minimal)

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Normal office environment.
