Description

This position will report to the VP, Human Resources located in Roseland, New Jersey. Working in conjunction with the VP, this position will support a client base of over 500 employees and will require 25% travel to support clients based in New Jersey and Arizona. The incumbent will be the HR lead for the Disability Operations group and should have 5-7 years of experience in an HR Business Partner role. The successful candidate will provide HR support to employees and management in the areas of employee relations, performance management, policy interpretation and talent management. Working in partnership with other members of the HR team, the incumbent will also be involved in training and development initiatives, compensation analysis, staffing and cross-client projects.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Partners with client organization to strengthen and develop leadership and managerial capability to improve business performance.
* Works directly with managers in implementing their performance management process, assessing their work environment and their level of compliance with human resources policies, procedures and practices.
* Assists in strategic planning, policy development and implementation of HR initiatives to strengthen organizational capability and improve business performance.
* Researches and interprets policies and procedures.
* Responds to day-to-day inquiries from clients.

Qualifications

* 5-7 years relevant experience in large, complex organizations with specific experience as a HR Business Partner preferred
* Candidates must be willing to travel up to 25% of the time
