The Chief Medical Officer is a physician member of the PBH and PBMC Executive Teams providing leadership and clinical input to administrative decisions and is responsible for the quality of clinical delivery within all PBH entities.

Minimum Qualifications are as follows: Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Maine. Minimum of five year of clinical practice experience. Demonstrated leadership and management skills, including effective problem solving skills, fairness, decisiveness, excellent negotiating skills, and the ability to manage complex situations. Possess the ability to communicate clearly with medical staff colleagues, nursing staff, hospital administrators, board and community members. Board-certified, active member of the medical staff.
