Jobing Description

Working as an Individual Responsible User (IRU) Representative, you will be responsible for activating and upgrading IRU customers of existing, contracted AT&T business customers.  You will have the opportunity to develop relationships with local and national business to business (B2B)/sales departments to help develop and drive IRU business.

 
Additional Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for meeting assigned sales goals
  • Communicate progress with B2B/sales management and provide full support to assigned accounts
  • Attend B2B Team meetings
  • Accompany B2B representatives to clients
  • Gain the trust of the client
  • Gain the trust of the B2B teams for more account relationships
  • Resolve escalation issues quickly
  • Establish table/vendor days onsite to offer our products
  • Fulfill and deliver orders within 24hrs
  • Bring store representatives to vendor days for additional support where needed
  • Partner with Advanced Business Solutions (ABS) organization to drive IRU customers to retail locations

Skills / Requirements

Required Qualifications:


  • Two years retail sales experience
  • Excellent sales skills and demonstrated ability to meet or exceed performance standards
  • Excellent negotiating skills
  • Willingness to work on commissioned pay
  • Willingness to have a sales quota
  • Willingness to handle rejection from customers
  • Ability to clear a driver's license check, background check and drug test
  • The successful candidate will be able to perform the following with or without reasonable accommodation:

    • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds during event set up.
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays
    • Ability to work away from the retail store approximately 4 days a week
    • Ability to operate a personal computer, wireless equipment, copier and fax

 Desired Qualifications:


  • Three or more years retail sales experience
  • Outside sales experience strongly preferred
  • Strong time management skills
  • Superb telemarketing, account planning and cold calling experience
  • Effective communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Familiarity with wireless terminology preferred
